I put a Williams FP receiver sight on mine back in 89'. Can unscrew the narrow peep out for a larger rear aperture. However, been thinking lately of adding a compact 3x scope that I have sitting around.I recently purchased this Marlin 1894 SS in 44 Magnum. Manufactured in 2002. It's pretty nice overall with a few imperfections in the wood that lead me to believe it didn't spend its life in a safe. It didn't come with the rear sight so I'm in the process of trying to figure out which one I want to get for it. I'm really looking forward for a chance to take this down to the range and see how well I can shoot it. View attachment 381677

Awesome. Do you have to use special flat nosed bullets to get the .308 to load and feed properly?Sharing a couple of pics of a beautiful lever gun that I have in my collection, at least temporarily (selling). Savage Model 99A Series A Cal .308 win, believe it to be a 1982 model

I haven’t personally put a round through it, but as CD mentions above my understanding is these guns have a 6 round internal rotary magazine. The former owner (my brothers father in law, now deceased) had standard 308 Ammo with it.Awesome. Do you have to use special flat nosed bullets to get the .308 to load and feed properly?
Edit: Doesn't look like a tube magazine so never mind. Is it top loading?
That is cool, I am not familiar with that model at all. Ok, yall are officially sick 😳
Anyone and everyone should be proud to own that one! My only problem is that I would shoot it and send the Collector's Value on a downward plunge. OK, because I would probably never sell it.Went to see my dad yesterday and he was showing me a Henry 4570 he had picked up. Thought you guys might like to see as well. Not really sure how pro gun these folks on it really are but thought it was cool to have trump on there. The black fuzzy on the reciever is from the case he had it stored in. I’m going to get him a gun sock here soon. View attachment 105464 View attachment 105463 View attachment 105461 View attachment 105460
