YOUR LEVER GUN PICS

Me too. Been looking for years for a Winchester in .45 LC, Now too damn expensive.. :(

@Wolverine Not sure if you are looking for an old one but my shop does currently have a newer Winchester in 45LC I think its 1200. Guy said it had about 20 rounds down the pipe.

Sounds sweet but got a few Marlins and a Winchester on hand…ain’t nothing like a lever gun for having fun 😜

JM stamped 1895 in 45-70. I forget the year model off the top of my head. Sporting an adjustable shoe string leather sling I made, topped off with a Leopold 1.5-4x pig plex.

Man I got one just like it from a member back in January 1974 vintage. Absolutely love that rifle!

This might be heresy. I got a new, unfired, jm 30-30. Sent it out to a builder to make something a little more exciting out of it. Full action job, RP rail, XS top rail and ghost rings, cut and thread 5/8x24, marlin dark stock, cerakote. He just sent me pics of the finished product. It’s on its’ way home now. 8108FC49-1978-4915-93E2-4F0B0606E588.jpeg5D4E6165-E490-431A-912A-13B37653EEBE.jpeg63B86089-B901-4DED-B151-A06886DB5021.jpeg

My 336 30-30 that belonged to my grandfather. It’s killed a few deer, hogs, and a couple bears since I’ve had it, he wasn’t a hunter and I don’t believe he killed anything with it. I’ve decided to go away from the scope this year. Haven’t decided yet on a peep or back to factory buckhorns.

Man you just can’t beat the ol’ thutty thutty for getting the job done!

Looks like termites got into your rifle but if you like it great. Looks very tacticool. Maybe if an AR and a Henry had a child.

Been resurrecting an old flat bolt 30-30 from 1947. I had listed it for sale. But after some smarta$$ comments in the bst thread, I decided to build it. 14.5” barrel, RP rail, XS top rail with ghost ring sights. Don’t worry purists, it was far from a pristine collectible.
Once you get past the fear of breaking something, removing the barrel for modifications is not too bad.

14.5” barrel?
I’m confused, but then I’m always confused!
14.5” barrel with pin/weld suppressor mount for a total of 16”. I’m a 07/02, so sbr is no cost. But didn’t think 1.5” of barrel was worth the future hassle of selling it as an nfa item

Any saved lever gun is a pristine collectible!!

I initially had zero interest in this as aftermarket parts are not compatible with the older guns. But our membership can be quite snarky sometimes (I wont exclude myself). That snarkism made me want to show what this ugly duckling could be, especially if you weren’t totally incompetent. Some terds can only see what is, not what can be.
