The wife just booked herself a massage for Saturday so she told me I can 'go die in the heat, just make sure you've baked my birthday cake before then'. Sweet, I'm in.
 
Sorry to not be at the last match but I took a vacation to Clearwater Florida where I shot a match down there😁. I've signed up for the September match at H2O. See you folks there.

Our son told me that’s where you were. I looked at the weather forecast for that day in west Fla. How did you not burst into flames?
 
Our son? That makes us sounds like fairies. But anyway, it was hot but it was at a place called Wyoming Antelope Club(🤡) in St Pete. The range had six bays 25 yards beep covered above by concrete about 20 feet above. The staff called it the caves. Those weather reports are complete crap it wasn't really that bad.

For the day/night shoot, is it still only hand-held flashlights for the night portion?
 
Yes it was a great day to be on the range. Nice to see peeps and had some big fun as always.
Looking forward to October's match.

Haven’t shot a match all summer. Haven’t even been to the range all summer. It could get ugly Saturday.

I went to the range today just to see if I remembered which end of the gun the bullets come out.

Due to rain, this match has been postponed until October 21. We will see you on the third Saturday of this month. This is our regularly scheduled second Saturday IDPA match - 6 stages. $20 per shooter (per gun). On site sign-in and orientation from 8am until 9am. Shooting starts at 9:15 am...

It looks like holsters for light-bearing Sigs are pretty expensive. If I shoot the night portion of the Nov shoot, it'll have to be with a handheld light. I'd better try it before I show up that evening for the first time.
