Snowmageddon December 8th, 9th, 10th 2018

Annnnddd it begins, the snow is here

Flakes be falling. On call status ended at midnight, tomorrow looks like work though if it amounts to anything at all.

Projections for my area ( Lenoir) 6 to 12.
It's only been snowing 30 mins and the grounds already white and it's beginning to snow harder,

I was in Mooresville for dinner then a christmas party in Charlotte (USNWC'ish area) until driving home around 1130. All I saw was light rain and 38-40F temps. Hopefully I wake up to some white stuff on the ground!

My teacher wife is hoping for the blizzard of the century lol

Coming down good here in Chapel Hill.

Sunday 3AM about 1/4" on the cars, no accumulation on driveways or street, about 5 miles north of RDU runways.

Just got back from our first wreck of the storm in the city. I get off at 0800 and then back at it Monday.

Just woke up
By looking at my back deck and the patio furniture on it, Id say about 4" on the patio table

I woke up hearing the freezing rain hit the window, so there's some ice in this mess

We'll see where we end up

Zbizzle - be careful brother, not just going home, but, more specifically, on the job. Same for all of our first responders on here

My wife sent me these so I could enjoy the snow too.

And by way of update the generator is now running here at Casa de RR.

I'm really annoyed that none of the four, yes count them four standby generator installers have scheduled even a consult yet. I understand they are busy but damn I can even get someone to come out and tell me what they recommend and how much it will cost.
